The research followed the article, Enhancing Democratic Values in Higher Eucation Institutes for Quality Society, written by Warrawon Sritalanook and Suwimon Thanapollert presented to the 12th Congress organized by the King Pokklau Institute in 2553 BE. The framework of the research was the theories of student developments regarding learning, moral, and self-development, as well as the theories of democracy which were ideology, democratic ways of life, and the political or governance.  The data was collected 3 months after the severe political crisis in Thailand in 2553 BE. The research was presented in the Thailand Research Symposium in 2011.
       The results of the research helped identify the present situations and democratic factors among university students affected by their developments.
